ಸುರಪುರದಿಂದ ಲಿಂಗಸೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಮಾನಪ್ಪಯ್ಯನ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ಆಂಜನೇಯ ಟೆಂಪಲ್ ನಿಂದ ಭಟ್ಟನ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ರಿಪೇರಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯತ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪಿಡಿಓ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಏನೋ ದೊಡ್ಡದು ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅಷ್ಟು ಇಷ್ಟ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ರಸ್ತೆ ಅಗಿದು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವುದೋ ಕೆಡವಿದ ಹಳೆಯ ಮನೆ ಮಣ್ಣು ತಂದು ಈ ಸಿ.ಸಿ. ರಸ್ತೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸದ್ಯ ದೇವಪುರ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಷ್ಟು ಇಷ್ಟು ಮಳೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿವಿದ ಹಳೆ ಮಣ್ಣು ಕೆಸರಾಗಿ, ಪಿಲ್ಲಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು, ಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಹೆಂಗಸರು, ವಯಸ್ಸಾದವರು, ಓಡಾಡಲು ಆಗದೆ ನರಕಯಾತನೇ ಅನುಭವಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
